Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description:

 

Services provided includes day-to-day support services (“Desktop Support Services”) for end-users’ EUCD which are used in the Customer’s environment with the Customer’s approval. The general scope of Desktop Support Services shall minimally include:

 

·         Trouble-shooting and problem resolution;

·         Administration and Configuration;

·         End User Account Management;

·         End User Device Hardening and Lockdown;

·         Image Build Management; and

·         End User Briefings & Awareness Service.

·         The candidate shall support the following types of EUCD:

o   Desktops;

o   Notebooks;

o   Printers, including multi-function devices (i.e. printers, scanners and fax devices);

o   iPads or equivalent;

o   Mobile Device;

o   IP Telephones; and

o   Other peripherals (e.g. external hard drives, mouse, smart-card readers, Thumbdrive, monitors).

To Support minimally Windows 10 and later operating system and current and later version of Apple IOS

 

To provide support and trouble-shoot problems relating but not limited to the following:

·         Hardware;

·         Operating systems;

·         Operating systems components/service packs;

·         Registry settings;

·         Device drivers;

·         Compatibility testing;

·         Connectivity (network and peripherals); and

·         All components (hardware and software) that make up the EUCD.
